A little bit more about me:

Family: My co-pilot on my adventure is my husband Scott, we have two amazing kids Asa and Vivien, and two adorable dogs.

Where I am from: I was born in Bethesda, Maryland and grew up in Falls Church, Virginia right outside of Washington, DC.

A few stops along the way: Aside from growing up in Virginia, I have had the good fortune to live in Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Arizona.

My home base: I now live just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

How I like to spend my time: I love spending time with my family whether it is watching my son play golf or soccer, my daughter play soccer or act in a play, or our regular family dinners. I love to travel to meet new people, explore new cultures and enjoy new foods. My journeys have taken me to 41 of the 50 states, and 19 countries and I am just getting started. I love to kick back with my husband and enjoy a good glass of wine (part of the reason we live near a winery). And there is nothing quite like hanging out with good friends, around a bonfire, listening to great music.

My not-so-secret addiction: I am a serious bookworm with an addiction to books.  My addiction is mostly to business books, but also to biographies, motivational books, spirituality books, and a few others.  A good book, a fresh highlighter, and a roaring fire and I will be lost in another world for hours (if not days).

Education: I am a proud Aggie (Gig ‘Em!) from Texas A&M University with a MS in Human Resource Management; and part of my heart will always be in the Blue Ridge Mountains at James Madison University where I got my BA in Psychology.

to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.
